David co-founded Green Lane Digital in 2008 and currently spends his time working closely with several of the start-ups he has investments in and looking at a variety of start-ups in Australia and the United States.
David co-founded CountryCars.com.au and following a capital raising in 2006 sold the business to Fairfax Media in 2007. In 2009 David co-seed funded Bloodstock.com.au and led the sale to William Inglis and Son in 2011. Prior to CountryCars David put together and sold options in real estate developments. David loves to support entrepreneurs on www.kiva.org and is a keen tennis player.
Growing up as a 6th generation beef cattle farmer Alex successfully completed Bachelor of Agricultural Commerce at the University of Sydney. Alex has over 10 years digital experience in founding, growing and facilitating online businesses. Co-founder of CountryCars.com.au which was successfully acquired by Fairfax digital in 2007, Alex went on to feature prominently in the inception, growth and exit of Bloodstock.com.au to William Inglis & Son in early 2011.
Alex is currently taking the lead on a number of investment opportunities for Green Lane Digital, in-particular Farmz.
Alex has a real passion for sport, travel,education, self-improvement and social & industry issues impacting Australian agriculture and the country.
After an early career in software sales and consulting, Gareth has spent the last 6+ years starting, running and working in a wide range of startup / early-stage businesses including Wyngle.com.au, iPitch.com.au and Mamamia.com.au.
Having sat on both the entrepreneur and investor side, Gareth has gained a deep skillset across all aspects of early-stage business: startup strategy, marketing, sales & customer acquisition, operations, design, dev, etc. – and now takes the lead role working with our investee entrepreneurs through business validation. Gareth is a black-belt instructor in Jujutsu, a wildly keen skier and has an extreme propensity to ask lots of questions.
Mark is a Chartered Accountant and Company Director. He offers significant experience in the financial development of small business, including enhancing financial processes and governance standards, developing financial models to support fund raising and mentoring finance teams.
Mark offers over 20 year experience in financial management commencing with seven years as a consultant in London and New York with a major accounting firm. He then held various senior financial positions at the BBC, including CFO for their UK Radio Operations before joining a US$2bn Nasdaq listed group as Group CFO. For the last ten years Mark has focussed on the development of start-up and growth companies.
Mitchell Page is the co-founder and Creative Director of Creatio.com.au, a successful web development company focused on providing high quality digital services. Mitchell is a graduate of the University of Sydney receiving a First Class Honours Degree in Design Computing and was also awarded the University Medal for his outstanding academic research. Today Mitchell is focused on growing his business and expanding his portfolio with new digital product developments, recently partnering with Green Lane Digital as a co-founder of IPitch.com.au.
